Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 1991 – 1992. Admissions are conducted on the basis of cap rounds, students are selected by merit on 12th marks and entrance exams. The main reason to select this college is that it has the best campus structure and facilities.

The mechanical department has the best background and buildup structure. There is three division in every department and every classroom har captivity of 60 students. The teaching methods of teachers are best and unique. There are 2 terms in every year of engineering, students have to do the study properly for final exams.

When students are studying last year different companies visit them from different locations to give them jobs. Companies- JMTC Medium Duty Slipper, Classic Carton Box Making Plant, Tata, maruti suzuki, honda, Baja, etc. Students who want to get good placements should score more than 70 percent in exams. I plan to complete my degree and start my own business.

The fees of every student are taken by the structure provided by Pune University. The average fee of the open candidate is 100000 per year. Other costs of studies are taken by students themselves. Scholarships are provided to the students of obc, sc, st, etc, castes.

Every January, the college conducts the final cultural fest called 'Medha' started in 2016. There are different types of games, quizzes, sports, Dances, fashion show conducted by the college in Medha in every year. Before the annual function different types of sports are conducted by the college such as boxing, running, kabaddi, hockey, basketball, baseball, etc.
