Remarks

The college is located at a very good residential area with a vast campus for students to study or play sports, it is very near to the main road which runs buses that connects to all part of the city. The college faculties & facilities are average considering the admission fee & other fees are very less but the fee increases gradually from 2nd year of admission. The admission process is very easy, one has to just fill the form & submit it along with relevant documents like your transfer certificate, marks card, money can be paid by cash or cheque only. The college is a well-known college for middle-class people so I chose this, it was referred by my brother & his friend.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose science because I wanted to do computer engineering, this is the correct college for my budget. There were 6 teachers for 6 subjects, they were capable of taking care of 150 students at the same time, given their experience from years, few of them have very good teaching skills, it's based on how good their interaction with us, I like them even today. We had 2 term exams, one in Sept & second in April, the exams were very easy in the first easy but in the second year, students have to study thoroughly for the 2nd year board exam.

Placement Experience

4

Graduate students will have the opportunity to attend campus placements from 5th sem, the job is confirmed only when the final results are out. I attended a library called Just Books for an interview I was offered 15k per month at that time. 80% of the students will definitely get jobs from campus placements, the remaining students would have not passed or got jobs from outside the campus like me. Pursue MBA from a well known college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very less for 1st year or initially, it starts from 1300-1500 but from 2nd year to increases to 2000, this is only for 11th & 12th. For graduation courses like B.Com, BA, B.Sc, etc the fee starts from 10,000. For SC/ST, the college offers fees at a much lower rate of submitting the relevant documents.

Campus Life

4

College hosts annual day every year in Dec or Jan, just 2 months before the final exams. It will be very pleasant to see the college cheering up. College hosts other events like a cultural event, college outing, social awareness events whenever there's a chance to keep students happy. The classrooms have numerous fans, ACs, lights & the labs have enough equipments for all students. It has enough ground & sports equipments for all students to play & have fun.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
