SIRTS is one of the best and named engineering colleges which was affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGPV). SIRTS comes under the Sagar group of institutions (SGI) where we are a family. There is no bad blood. None of the engineering colleges brawls and fights. This institute has every facility that an engineering student needs. Moreover, SIRTS has the best faculties who are well trained in their fields. They not only teach us the particular subject but also encourages us for other activities like sports, dance, personality development, etc. also motivates us. Our college also contains various clubs for every different activity starting from educational to other curricular activities. The admission criteria include selection on the basis of marks obtained in JEE mains and some seats are for college-level counseling (CLC round). You can also get scholarships on basis of your merit.

I have chosen b.tech in CSE because I think this is the best course for me to pursue from this engineering college as SIRTS is as same as all the colleges that come under SGI. Many people think that why SIRTS and not SIRT or SIRTE but let me tell you that they all are the same as the faculties of these colleges are the same and are shuffled every year. As education is the most important thing, the faculties are best and educated along with this, they are also very supportive and encouraging. They teach us very fluently. If we talk about exams then exam dates and exam syllabus is what that RGPV decides and it all comes under RGPV guidelines.

From 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. The institute is among the top placement engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh. During placement season you will see people giving preparation tips. There are people who share various write-ups about companies and events. There are people who take notes for the entire batch and never hesitated to share them. The highest package for 2020 is offered by topper learning of 10LPA. There are so many multinational companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. who visited and hired many students from this institute.

Fees are Rs.60000 per annum. If you are from some other category except general then there are scholarships for you people. There are some eligibility criteria, you can get that if you are eligible for it. If you are financially weak then also there are some scholarships that you can get. Apart from this our college also runs a campus ambassador program with the help of which you can learn and enhance your skills and also you will get stipend based on your work.

Our college conducts Techno saga annual fest every year in the month of February where you can participate and learn various things in which they conduct various competitions technical as well as cultural. The College library is so good and large. You can go anytime during college hours to study in the library and also there is time scheduled for hostelers to go to the library. Our campus has a library, gym, sports complex, and canteen. There are 2 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels with a very good and positive environment. Hostelers can use these facilities of gym, sports complex, and library according to the schedule.

There are 3 girls' hostels and 2 boy's hostels on the campus. As I live in a girls' hostel I can tell you about the rooms, mess, etc. Rooms are of sufficient size with cupboards and study tables. Also, there is one balcony and windows in each room for ventilation purposes. The washing machine and geyser are available. Food quality in mess is so good. The food that a student eats is first checked by the caretakers and warden. You can take their help anytime whenever needed. Wardens and caretakers are so friendly and they are available 24*7 for your help.
