Remarks

Being a Government University, it has good basic facilities. The campus is big and hostel facilities are available. Classrooms are wide and clean. Staffs and Faculties are polite, but, at times they are a little slow in their work. Sports fest, skill development programs, Annual function, and many kinds of events are regularly held every year .. The admission process usually starts in the month of June. it takes place on a merit basis. Every stream has its respective cut-offs percentages.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because I'm passionate about the field of Commerce, Faculty-student ratio is like 1:100 there are fewer faculty and a lot of students. Most Faculty members have Ph.D. qualifications in their respective fields of teaching. Assistant or guest faculties also come to teach us. Semester based. One is mid-semester which is also known as internal examination and another is semester examination. Being a Government-based system, it is easy to pass but It's difficult to score more in the exam.. the authorities who check the answer sheets focus more on quantitative answers rather than quality.. the bulkier the answer, the better score you get. even though you write the right definitions, you can still scoreless if you have written less.. so that's a major drawback, which can decrease your percentage..

Placement Experience

3

Very little opportunity for campus placements. There hardly 3-4 major recruiters and the rest all are local compy. Students barely get placed with good salary package, Salary package is 1.8 to 2.4 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of studies is very is minimal, which is 3800-4000 rupees per year. Free education for students with disabilities.. one can apply for scholarship programs upto 10,000 rupees for the whole duration of the degree. Financial assistance are all provided by the Government. For Job placements, major recruiters are TCS, WIPRO, ICICI BANK, and some local companies, but very less students get placed.. average salary package is 1.8 - 2.4 lakhs per annum ..

Campus Life

3.5

Annual fest, sports fest, festival events, and many events take place throughout the year. There is a well-maintained library with a variety of books of both international and local authors. It's big enough and it is quiet. Classrooms are wide and clean. Sports and extracurricular activities are good. Students good in sports get the opportunity to compete in state-level and also national level.

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.
