BDA program accepts the test score of CAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT along with GAAT scores which tests the analytical and coding skills of data science enthusiasts. I chose this program because of the following reasons: Good Faculty. Infrastructure- Access to Big Data labs equipped with data analytics tools. Labs are also powered by SAS which is a tool heavily used in the banking sector. GIM BDA program enjoys 100% placements with the organization from various sectors visiting the campus offering roles like data analysts, data scientist, data engineer and business analysts.

The course curriculum is up to date with the current industry requirement. Most of the Faculties have a rich experience with the corporates and also some of them have written research papers. Faculties are well qualified and try to solve the doubts of the students as far as possible. Also, the professors provide good learning materials apart from what is covered in the course curriculum.

SIPs are also offered to the students of the BDA program. The avg. stipend offered is Rs. 40000/- per month. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 75000/-. GIM is the only institute whose BDA program offers a 5 months internship which is the average life cycle of a data science project, due to which the students not only get the overview of the business but also gets to contribute to the organisation.

GIM BDA enjoys 100% placements with an average package of Rs. 12.25 LPA for the final placements. Renowned companies from the Data analytics domain visits the campus from various sectors and offers roles like Business analysts, Data Scientist, Data Analysts and so on. The overall fees of the course are approx. Rs. 19.5 lakhs including the hostel and accommodation charges. The payment of the fees is done before the start of each term. Considering the access to big data analytics tools which are expensive this course does justice to the return on investment. Scholarship or tuition fee waiver is provided to meritorious students as well as those with weak economic background.

Students can participate in a plethora of clubs and committees present at GIM. Such participation induces leadership, creativity, communication enhancements, teamwork, presentation skills in the students. GIM has badminton courts, football & cricket ground, Lawn tennis court, swimming pool, Basketball court and so on inside the campus. GIM's clubs and activities are completely student-driven which teaches the students various management skills and taking ownership of the work which they do.

Various types of rooms are available in the hostels of GIM like double occupancy without AC, single occupancy with and without AC. The rooms are very spacious and are provided with all the basic amenities such as a cupboard, study table and bed. The students of GIM enjoys a variety of food where the menu is prepared by the student-driven Health Club. Nutritious food is provided 5 times a day as per the preference of the student and shops are also available inside that campus from where students can buy packaged consumable goods.

The admission process as follows: CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT - cutoffs are fixed and the shortlisted candidates are eligible for GD/PI. GAAT - This is an exclusive test which is conducted by GIM itself for the BDA aspirants so as to assess the analytical and coding skills. GD/PI - this is done at the end to test the communication skills of the aspirants.
