Entrance Preview

RPET i scored around 50 marks. And as i was always passionate about cars and automobiles i decided to take it as a career so B.Tech is a stepping stone for my career in it. And i got admission on basis on RPET only.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course given by RTU is an updated one. It includes study of all the latest technology and includes all the fundamental knowledge too. The course increases its content gradually semester after semester. In all, GOOD course. The courses are similar to those in IIT's and NIT. plus in my branch each semester has subjects which are elaborated much more in next sems.

Internships Opportunities

No. You have to fetch a internship online or by emailing the professors of IIT NIT or by applying to online sources like internshala, lets intern, etc .

Placement Experience

3

The placements are fairly good to the maximum of 10lac per annum. Companies like TCS, GENPECT, ACCENTURE and even INDIAN ARMY come for campus recruitment. The companies visiting campus recuit atleast 10 students. If the student has no backlog and has goos personality, attitude and overalls. The college makes sure he/she is placed in company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. And the fees can be deposited in installments. Fees is 60,000 bucks per anum and then there are some other fees like exam fees that is 1200 bucks which you have to deposit before every final exam. And then if you abstain any back in finals you have to submit 400/subject in order to attest back exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university runs a TFWS scheme scholarship. i.e. tuition fees waiver scheme the tuition fees of a student is waived if his/hers family income is less tga 4.5lacs. There are limited TFWS seats available in colleges and you have to apply for it at the time if counselling.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is very cool. As the infrastructure of my college is solid. We enjoy being in it the gender ration is also fairly good of around 3:2 or even it could be 3:3. Not in case of MECHANICAL ENGG. you can barely find any girl in ME the politics is not of much room in college as the university has removed the election of students. Now the teachers are appointed for any responsibility and there is no such issue of cast, religion, etc. COMPLETE HARMONY is established there.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is no hostel in our college but there are hostel available near by with cheap rents the average rental of PG nearby is 5000 per month and the food mess takes about 1500 for two time meals the college canteen is quite adequate for brunch kid of meals the canteen is very hydenic.

Exam Structure

Yes. In engineering the exams are bit hectic because every months you have mid terms, assignments, lab practices. There are two types of semesters , even and odd sems the even sems are shorter ones and the odd ones are larger. The shorter sems are a bit gectic as there is less time for midterms, labs and FINALS.

Admission

When the RPET result was out i filled a counselling form and chose my desired colleges. Then the RPET will automatically allot you college and then you just have to report at the college ob the given date and that's it . complete all the formalities at college and you're done.

Faculty

3.5

All the faculties are at least B.Tech with 2-3 year experience of teaching and the teachers are always up for any help regarding subjects. And the HOD'S of all dept are at least Ph.D The HOD's are humble enough to take the lectures and tackle any doubt in students. The teachers are also indulged in co-curricular activities and help student in any way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good. Teachers teach really good and their methods are very friendly. They also encourage you for extracurricular activities. Thereare several clubs and joining one club is mandatory. For appearing in exams, you have to maintain 75% attendance. One con is that they give you 6 exams in 3 days and don't even give a preperation leave. Before theory exams, You hav to give practicao exams for a week and simultaneously they give you assignments and unit tests.
