Remarks

The quality of education provided here made me choose this college. The staff here are very cooperative and guide at every path. They are ready to help at any time of the day and teaching method is very unique than any other college. The students are less in number so everyone gets best attention.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are the best here and they complete the syllabus on time or before with best understanding. Many internships are held for the students and eminent personalities visit to motivate the students. Academically every students gets best knowledge and is always doubt free in any subject.

Class Size: 29Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement here is good and if the students study well they should not worry about the placement. Many companies such as TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT and TATA STEEL hire students from here.

College Events

Regular cultural and technical fests and programs are held and campus life is best here. Every one is ready to support each other whether be it in studies or in activities. Sports and quizes are held at a regular intervals. Students are very disciplined and try to manage each event themselves.

Fees and Financial Aid

I think students don't need a loan to study here as the fees here are very low and talking of scholarship girls are given scholarship for fee waivers and meritorious students also get scholarship based on their score.

Campus Life

Best infrastructure and library is very huge. Many books and novels and magazine are kept here which can be accessed by anyone inside the college. Wifi is enabled throughout the campus. The labs are best here with Fully new technologies and all machine works quite well.

Hostel Facilities

Their is no hostel provided by the college but the students can stay at nearby PG rooms which they can get at very low costs such as 2000 per month. Mess is good and for the students residing at pg they can order food from outside which cost 2k-5k per month

BIT Mesra is Musical!!

Placement Experience:

Mechanical branch in terms of number of students placed is quite high but if it is about how many students get elite packages it's less. The average for our branch at our college is 8-9 lakhs but top companies which are into our core space for long are our college partners.

BIT Mesra is humongous!!

Placement Experience:

My plans after degree is to pursue masters or right away get on with my family business as we are already into trading chemicals. However, from the number of students from our stream that apply for jobs through campus, over 80% are placed from campus. Labs to industries that deals in manufacturing of chemicals and exporting the same are the ones where students of our college get the opportunity.

BIT Mesra is Magical!!

Placement Experience:

Highest package from our campus is eye catching as it's 56 lakhs and for chemical branch it was 34 lakhs. HUL, Sun Pharma, public limited labs and various R&D research centres are those that have helped us to get best available jobs in market as the competition is high but BIT Mesra has still managed to place over 80% students last year.

BITS Mesra is Magnificent!!

Placement Experience:

From second semester we are taken for an hour session for special training. It is optional till 4th semester but from 5th semester onwards, it becomes mandatory and we have no choice but to go through that hammer. Finally, from the last year's 1st semester companies starts coming and we can apply for the same and that is how placements are done here.

Read this before joining BIT Sindri.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities is decent for students. The placement of BIT sindri varies from branch to branch but the core brances like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering has evergreen placements. Among the eligible students around 90 percent students get placed. But in branches like civil and production engineering, its not the same. They have very low placement rate around 20 to 30% of eligible students get placement. For CSE, IT & ECE the placement is highly dependent on the situation of market and it varies early. The students are eligible from 6 the semester onwards for placement . The placement drive starts from August or September and companies visit till students graduate. The top recruiters are TCS with more than 80 students from overall campus , TATA power nearly 20 , LNT, JSW , Vedanta , TATA STEEL, JSL, ADANI, ABG , Shyam steel and For it sector companies like samsung , cognisant, hitachi, TCs, Spyder visited for 2k21 batch. For the batch 2020-2024 among batch size of 710 around 620 offers were made. The highest package is given by samsung which is around 28 LPA , students of CSE, IT, ECE and Electrical are eligible. For IT sector average package is around 6 lakhs. For core sectors companies heightest package is offered by vedanta to Electrical, Mechanical, Mining which is around 14 lakhs average package is around 7 LPA.. Around 75- 80 percent students get placed during campus placement drive. The Wish to crack GATE and join PSU after my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is slightly outdated due but still it isnrelevant due to research oriented branch. The areas they can improve is by adding practical subjects more than theoretical one. Exams are conducted twice every semester with easy to moderately moderate difficulty level.

Actually I applied only for this college because it is nearer from my home and actually this college is quite famous in my hometown and i didn't apply in another college because this is kolhan university and the education is good in this college. Karim City College. An Affordable Option for Mass Comm Aspirants

The most important factor was the affordability compared to other colleges including within-state colleges as well as Inter-State colleges. Also, the Faculty was very inclusive as I took last-minute admissions and they were happy to take me in. The admission process was fairly easy they took the mandatory marksheets of Std 10th and 12th also the Aadhar Card and Parental Details and the fees were paid in Cash. Later after the payments I was provided with the prospectus and Other Information.
