Remarks

This institute was near to my house. The best in our locality. This college offered foreign trip as final year college tour, coaching to improve communication skills, extra curricular activities and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was good. There were enough industrial exposure. We were advised to do industrial visits and internships. The faculties were very insighted and guided the students well. Even extra curricular activities and out of box thinking were trained there.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Placement Experience

We had placement drives in six months interval. Many companies of different departments were there. In my batch majority got placed and minority got back papers.

College Events

The technical fests were conducted by each department in rotation on all fridays. Cultural fests were conducted annually. All students had compulsory participation. Management activities were incorporated into tech fests.

Campus Life

The infrastructure was extraordinary. There was free wifi without any restrictions. All the text books were available in the library. The labs were well equipped. Even new industrial machines were available one each for our understanding.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

LIVING WITH HOLYGRACE

The admission was strictly under keam marks and 12th result. After the keam results. The qualification for KEAM is 10th marks in both exams. After Keam results we can apply in the portal with the 12th and 10th class grade. And according to the availability of seats of the colleges that we applied we will get the call from the college and there will be a small interview and they will allow us to see the college and if we like the college and the ambience we can take admission there. The KEAM portal gives us specific reservation for individuals from sc obc , physically challenged persons and for Students who are belongs to below poverty line.
