Wonderful place to study ayurveda

The good part goes to the teaching staff, the environment and the students who are friendly. The down lagging thing which many focus on is the college campus which many feel as small compared to other collages. But later one will get used to it and be happy that he is part of Muniyal family.

I didnt write any entrance exam but yes there's Karnataka CET exam that you can write and get one of the 8 seats available.One can score up to 15000 rank in ISMH cet and (may) be able to get the seat here. I chose this college because of its location and great teaching staff which is vry dedicated and friendly.

The course of bams is for 5 and a half year after which one can do a MD for 3 years. Therez a lot of options after MD either a lecturer or researcher and find out lots of new things. After bams one can also Continue studying or work as a doctor in a private firm or any hospitals.

Yes the college provide internship for the period of one year after the four and half year of theoretical study. The College is attached to the hospital with good number of patients and every student gets the opportunity to deal with them. i dont know about the stipend because i am not yet a intern here. as a intern one gets lots of details on the disease its aspect and line of treatment.

I dont think any of the medical colleges have placement options. so as my college. One can complete BAMS and work at a private firm or hospital or he can continue to study further thats MD in few subjects like panchakarma shalya tantra dravyaguna rasashastra etc and can either be a lecturer or a researcher and help others discover the new aspects in field of ayurveda.

The college conducts various seminars where students and teachers from various part of country come to attend it. There are other events like National Ayurveda day where we tell the people about the importance of Ayurveda, the traditional day the sports day the doctors dayb, the international yoga day and many more and there is active participation in all of these.

The fee structure is good enough and it must be asked in the College office. I literally dont know the proper value. The fees includes the tution fees the hostel fees for an year and sports fees and many other. It will told during the admission process or one can call the college office to get the info of the same.

I dont know any of this. One can ask in the college office for this. There might be any student scholarship program but i havent seen any one availing it.

Each class has about 40 students which is increased to 100 now. Usually the boys are fewer in number compared to girls. Theres is no student parties but there are various workshops where every student gets an opportunity to learn better things. The sports day is held every year consisting only field events and no track events. The labs are good and is equipped with all thats reqd.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls.the room is sharing. 2 boys in one room and as such there are 4-5 rooms in one hostel and college has many hostels. The fees of one whole year has to be paid during admission its eld. There are pGs near by and it can be bought if you know any of the locality in the college.

The alumini of this college are well settled. mostly in Kerala karnataka and UP. The senior students help a lot during the first days of college to understand what actually is taught here and what should be we do to make learning better.

There are internal exams and the main exam. Internal exams are held every 3 months along with viva and labs. One has to score well to write the main exam. The university exam is held once in year usually in the month of September and march(supplementary) and it also includes viva voice and lab exams which one has to pass to be eligible for the coming year.

The teaching staff is totally dedicated and puts great effort in helping students understand the knowledge of Ayurveda and its concepts. They always want us to go forward, find new things , try to sort it out etc. Overall they are really good and help students come up in life.
