Remarks

I took admission in khaira college because my parents don't have more money to read in a urban area . This college is 5 k.m. from our home.So it is near to me.And I also teach our village children that I can manage my education fee and tuition fee.So I choose this near college.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course curriculum is most competitive in society.Because it is completely based on trade and business .It teaches how a student become independent himself/herself.So it make students active in working place.

Placement Experience

4.5

Some of students secured in Govt. Service after degree and some of them go out of stae for work .A few students took admission in higher studies. Our state has many companies like Jindal steel city, Nalco and many more companies. But degree is not the designation of a student so our govt.should help by providing many facilities like study loan, scholarship and other study materials.

College Events

5

I can't forget my collegehood life.Beacause in such time there was no tension and always focus on study. There are many platforms in our college programme. They are anul functions , sports and picnic.Functions are based on cultural activities because it is a rural area .

Fees and Financial Aid

I can't deserve any loan and scholarship. When I go to apply scholarship I find the cybercafe is closed. We belong rural area so there are not available many cybercafe in my area.So this was the the sadness to me.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of my college are sufficient and good in quality. But one thing is not available in my college that is WiFi because this is rural area.Liabrary is full of sports furniture ant it's size is 600 sqfts. The laboratory equipment is very good quality and all equipment is available.

Hostel Facilities

No the college is near my home.So I can't think stay in hostel . But I know the the hostel activities. Some of friends stayed in hostel who are far from college .Hostel has a good facilities they are playground, library, kitchen , bathroom, latrine etc.But the hostel has a number of seat that is 500 seats .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of B.Com under Sambalpur University covers important subjects like Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Management and Taxation which are essential for future studies and careers in finance or commerce. The structure is simple to follow and helps students build a good base in theory. Semester exams are conducted on time and the difficulty level is moderate. A student who consistently studies can score well without extreme pressure. However, there is a lack of practical exposure such as industry visits, internships or real-world business case studies. Also, subjects related to modern digital business trends like data analytics, advanced Excel, and GST practicals should be included to make students more job-ready. Overall, the curriculum is relevant but needs more updates to match the current professional requirements

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.
