A Splendid Place to learn !

College is very good and i feel faculty give their best to groom the youth of the college but still Placements should have to be a little better than what they currently are. They need some experienced placement officers.

I gave Mat and scored 87 %ile but the college doesn't consider any entrance exam scores and the admission is strictly based upon the candidate's performance in GD, PI Rounds. I opted for this college because the fee is certainly very low as compared to other colleges in the region whereas the facilities provided are as good as others.

College follows the course curriculum as laid by Punjab Technical University but There are lot of assignments given to us, Ample number of Presentations, semester long projects which help a candidate to groom his/her skills. Apart from all this every candidate has to go through a 6 weeks Training after the end of 2nd semester.

Every student has to go through a 6-8 weeks internship after the end of first year. Many companies visit the campus to offer Internships to the students. Stipend ranges between 3000-10000. Until now Jaro Education, Jag bros have visited the campus to offer internship and still, there is a long Placement season coming ahead.

Placements are kinda okayish. I won't compare them with the likes of Reputed B - Schools but certainly they are good, considering the fees we pay for the whole course. R.O.I is very good. Many companies visits the campus for placements, The likes of Axis Bank, Yes bank, Airtel, ITC, Kent Ro offered placements to the students. Package generally varies between 3-4.5 lakh. A few companies do offer much more than that. Almost every student get a job offer.

There are a number of events organised in the college. Koshish is a week long festival which college holds normally in the month of October. Every class participate in it to grab their hands on the trophy. It covers many events like British Parliamentary debate, Group discussion, Fashion show, dance show, Singing and many more.

Fee structure is very very feasible. MBA is a costly course but here at PCTE we have to pay around 47 k in the first semester and for the next 3 semesters the fee is around 40 k which is very low considering other colleges which offer the same course.

College itself doesn't provide any scholarship/loan facility but one can easily get a loan from bank to study here. also there are lot of Scholarships provided by the Government to the bright students and students belonging to the lower castes.

Gender ratio in the campus seems to be 50:50. There are lot of Foreign students who have came to study here which makes the environment really diverse. There are lot of clubs in the college like literary club, fashion club, sports club, dance club, theater club and many more. Every student has to atleast join 1 club. I am a part of literary club and they hold many activities like Group discussions, British parliamentary debate, JAM.

Hostel facilities are very good. Rooms are adequately spaced for a home like living. Every room has It's own air conditioner, Refrigerator. There are rooms on 3 sharing and 2 sharing. Hostel charges for 3 sharing rooms, 2 sharing rooms are 4550, 5000 respectively which include mess charges. Food offered in mess is at times good and at times bad.

Seniors are very helpful and many alumnus are called by the college to share their Experience in the industry and also to offer Guest lectures.

60 marks Evaluation is done on the basis of a theoretical exam conducted by the university and 40 marks are in the hands of college which one has to earn through actively participating in class and giving all the presentations, projects on time. College also conduct monthly exams which it consider while giving internals.

This is an area which i seriously feel that the college has an upper hand over the other colleges in the region. Faculty is top notch, they have deep knowledge about the subjects they are teaching to us. A few of them have hardcore industry experience to share with the students. The teaching methodology is very professional and practical.
