During my academic years at IIBS there was no dearth of cultural & extra-curricular activities. In fact, IIBS is one institute that promotes events that contribute to students’ self-confidence. We celebrated all prominent national festivals. Also, there were cultural & sports meets, which were held periodically. In all of these celebrations, there was active guidance from our faculty.

The fees you pay for a two-year MBA at IIBS are perhaps the most competitive of all the fee structure across the B-Schools. At a time when 15 lakhs is a norm in most of the B-Schools, a total of Rs. 8 lakhs (including hotel & other expenditure) should not be burdensome. The fact that you get assured of placement, the investment is easily recoverable within 1 or 2 years.

It is okay to expect loan facility when you pursuing your MBA. But at IIBS, there is such tradition as yet. May be, in the coming years, the management might consider sponsoring loans. As for scholarship, yes – deserving IIBS graduates do get appreciation for doing exceptionally good at academics.

If you are an instant speaker, you can stand up on talk on topics that interest you most. You can also exhibit your cultural talent if you are good at folk items. Equal preference to both boys & girls, and there is scope for bias. All these positives make IIBS campus enjoyable.

What is pleasant about IIBS hostel is its calm environment where students can relax & concentrate on their studies. There is plenty of space for fun & frolic, along with studies. As for the food served here, it is hygienic & tasty. Menu includes both North & South Indian dishes. Therefore, you can feel at home during your stay in IIBS hostel.

IIBS Alumni Association is better known for mutually respectful feeling amongst juniors and seniors. IIBS Alumni, by virtue of their corporate exposure, share their practical experience with juniors. This interaction benefits juniors in preparing for rigors of interview during selection. Moreover, IIBS graduates can come together to form their own professional advisory. IIBS Alumni Association meets every year for Annual Alumni Meet.

I found the exam structure very meticulous & detailed. The papers are divided into written & internal assessment. This dual-weightage is good because it balances the classroom activities & exam-specific answers. It makes students to be absorbed in their academics throughout, not just only during exams. Evaluation too is strict meaning students deserve their effort.

IIBS faculty has played an important role in elevating its status to a leading B-School in the country.
