Remarks

The college is very good and provides you the opportunity to explore the newer version of yourself.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course helped me to clear the Chartered Accountancy Course. Additionally, the extra curricular activities at the institute helped me to groom myself and build up my confidence. There were industrial visits which helped me to understand how the industry works etc.

Placement Experience

4

The college have a separate department which look after Placement for graduate students. Institutions like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, EY, Deloitte etc participate in Placement Drives. The college faculties provide guidance to the students about how to appear for interview, group discussions etc.

College Events

5

Astitva & Troika are the most famous events celebrated every year. They also give cash prizes to the winners. Among others the college also hosts other events such as Youth Festival, Blood Donation Camps, Help to Farmers Drive, NSS Camp, NCC Camp etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was feasible and anyone can afford to take the admission. I was required to pay around Rs5,000 as an admission fee for 3 years of my graduation course. Also, the college gives details about the fee breakup. Mostly cash payments are accepted and the students need to deposit the cash in the bank account of the college by showing the admission slip.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had availed scholarship given by Savitribai Phule. Pune University amounting to Rs24,000. The eligibility criteria was 75% marks in 12th Standard and you have to produce Income Certificate of your parents. Additionally I got the government scholarship because I fall into OBC.

Campus Life

Campus life is best and it was the most memorable times of my life. You have so many seminars, events, trips, friends that you will not think anything else other than going to the college. Gender ratio is almost 60:40 i.e. 60% male and 40% females. I haven't witnessed any instances of ragging etc. Additionally there were students from foreign countries like Afghanistan, Nigeria, Nepal etc. No racism or casteism happens in the college.

Hostel Facilities

I haven't opted for hostel but the hostel facility is available and there is a separate procedure to get an admission to the hostel. There are separate hostels for boys and girls so no issue of security as well.

Alumni/Alumna

When you go in the market, many business owners are alumni of the BMCC. It gives you plus point while applying for job or seeking a professional assignment.

Admission

I was having ambition about doing Chartered Accountancy Course and I have heard that the college produced most CA's is BMCC, that's why I choose it. As a part of admission process there were Merit List displayed and you will have to come on a specified date for the admission. While taking admission you have to select second language subjects and you will be assigned a division. Admission process generally starts in July first or second week.

Faculty

4.5

We had 20+ faculties who were involved in Bachelor of Commerce Course. Almost everyone of them was of 30 years or more and having completed SET or NET Exam with PhD. Some of them were renowned faculties who go to other institutions for seminars as an expert. The most of Visiting Faculties was either a Chartered Accountant or a professionals. They have given us plenty of knowledge which helped us while doing other courses such as NET, CA etc.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in the banking and finance since 11th because of my good accounts in this college I am able to learn the different aspects of banking and finance the college also held some mentoring about the course and career guidance. One thing I don't like is the test they took every time when one lesson got finish they took the test and us that any of the test will consider as internal and just before the exam they give so many projects and assignments and also tell us to complete the book then only they will give the internal marks and allow to write the external
