Remarks

I appreciate non teaching staff from lab assistants to cleaning one, all of them were very helpful kind and modest. There was aunt from the kitchen staff I still have her contact saved in my phone she was quite friendly. she was different from other ladies of her age as she never judges us on basis of our clothes and makeup since it was girls college she had plenty of variety around her still she was full of positivity and was eager to know all our fancy things.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have semester system in our course in total we have to sit for the 6 written exams. But the practicals and files are always going on in there. I think it is the best way for any Institute to test a student as it is continuing rather than one final exam at the end of the year we have to attend all the classes in order to complete our projects sometimes we have to do them there in college in front of teacher so that they could tell us if the method we are using is right or not.

Placement Experience

1

No we dont get placement after completing this course our college do not invite any company for this generally students opt for master degree and then try for job. Yes I did internship under one of our lecture on marketing, we surveyed latest advancement in technology for kitchen appliances where we had chance to interact with many renowned showrooms in our city

College Events

5

So first thing first as we started our first year of college we had this fresher party in college in with we interacted with our seniors and teachers. The thing that was different about that party was it had some talent completions. Next was cultural program where one has to come in any traditional attire. I was in rajasthani and one of my senior asked me few questions about local jewellery names and local dishes thankfully I knew all of them and won that title of cultural head after that we had knitting and stiching competition in textile subject. We were once taken to Kisaan meta where we had to set up our stall of all handmade goods. We have dance singing competition every year and I could say we have all those extra curriculum activities in our college which should be there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee has to be payed all at once there is extra late fee charges as well. They take it both way as in cash and cheque. No the Do not take donations or things like that it is come first and get first thing applicable there. Since it is govt college we don't have to hire any consultant for admission procedure which is best thing. Yes they do provide transparency in case of fee breakdown but I don't know it's terms and conditions in detail

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I tried for the scholarship at the time off admission. But I was not called for scholarship because my fathers average income is above 8 lakh. They were offering 45 scholarship to those girls belonging from below poverty line group so I got rejected. No I didn't felt like applying for education loan as the college fee was very affordable.

Campus Life

Since it is girls college so we never really had to see gender diversity. Talking of extracurricular activities, I think our college was on the top in our city as we were always having some or other thing going on from mehandi to mandala competition cultural events where I was awarded with cultural head title in first year of my college. Whereas there were no sports facilities in our college no sport days nothing I don't know why we didn't complained either there is ground for that bt not specifically for sports activities as we were never allowed to roam there. Labs were well equipped and everything was decent when it comes to the academics. There used to be debate competition as well but I was never interested in rather I was more on Miss KN festival as we used to have Mr India or some other celeb/model invited there as it was all about fashion dance and acting. Our college has good ranking when it comes to commerce and accounting, maybe we marwaris are good at this.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I did. You get hostel on the basis of your 12th exam marks which is generally high for science maths and biology for the art students it is quite low. Hostel rooms are very average not like those private hostels don't have attached washrooms. Building is quite old and there is a big hall for dinning which is quite spacious. We Do have to share our room with one other girl. One of my friend stays there in pg and paying 6500 monthly. But pg is far better than hostel in comparison to hygiene food facilities. But this hostel is doing well in its purpose of giving safe living space for those girls coming from far away and can't afford to pay for pg as it is free of cost

Alumni/Alumna

Yes off course there is a senior she is my personal favorite and kind of my inspiration as she was very average looking bt never felt down because of her dusky skin was very confident and she won miss Maruni festival. I got to interact her on miss KN festival last year

Admission

I wanted to to become dietician so this was the only government college offering this course near me. It has very good reputation here in our city so I wanted to be part of it. For the admission process first you have to apply for it online or offline then there are three counseling list one in July other and August and last one in September I got my name in the second list and was very happy after that. After your name is announced there you are provided with the dates and venue for counseling and fee deposition. Once you deposit your fee your get your classroom and claasteacher details within 14 days on your registered mobile no.

Faculty

All the teachers were well qualified I must say most of them were graduated from this University itself. We had 11 teachers in our department. There was a teacher of mine she used to visit child day care almost daily as she was teaching us children's growth and development it really helped and we did our survey several times on the same. Teachers were very friendly even though we had huge age difference. Most of them were in there late 50s. I can recall that one teacher even after her retirement she gave us classes on her subject as we were expecting new teacher to come but due to some reason she couldn't. Apart from books these values taught by them are now embedded really deep down our heart that we are always gonna miss them.

The course will be completed on time, but you'll not get taught as you expected. The teaching techniques are boring, and you'll have difficulty. They charge you 2000 rupees as late fees for submission and so on, for the late exam fees as well. There are a lot of unnecessary fees that they will apply once you get admission there

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives
