Remarks

It's a pretty average college. The infrastructure isn't good, the canteen isn't good. There are some really shady people but if you find the right ones then there are some good people too. The staff is really good, teaching is also quite good. Cleanliness isn't that great also the placements aren't excellent either.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed pretty well. It's quite fun and knowledge imparting. I'm not a big fan of the exam structure though, it comes under Bangalore University. The placements aren't that great in this college. If you are looking for direct placements after your graduation then you should probably not opt this college.

Placement Experience

2.5

Like I said before , the college placements aren't really that good. Very few companies come here, so if you are looking for job directly through college placements then you should probably not opt for this college. Some of the departments offer industrial training and also internships. They send you to various labs for either training or internship. So it's quite good in that case.

College Events

3.5

There are many events organised in this college. Both inter as well as intra college events. They are not huge fests like that in Christ or Joseph's but they are quite good. The participation is in large numbers from the college students as well as the other colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is the best part about this college. It is quite affordable, there are no donations in this college. The courses which are government aided are within 10,000. There are some courses which aren't government aided, these courses are relatively expensive. My course was CZBt and I paid around 35,000 per year which is still affordable. You can pay the fees online or through Challans.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does provide certain scholarships which is quite good. But the only downfall is that they provide it on the basis of the financial conditions and not the merit alone. You will be informed regarding the scholarship in the beginning of the year itself.

Campus Life

There is nothing like campus life in this college. The infrastructure isn't that great, the labs are average. Although they have a lot of facilities in the lab. There is a basketball court in the college but no basketball team as such. In my class the number of girls were greater than the boys.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year they conduct an alumni meet in which various age groups of students come. In my 3 years of college only few seniors came and had a conversation. Although there are many alumni who are doing great in life and are in a good position. They are some real motivation and inspiration.

Admission

I got direct admissions. The admission process is quite simple , you just need to fill the form and submit it along with the required documents. The current year admissions have already begun. This college wasn't in my list but due to some personal reasons I had to join this college. It's an average college.

Faculty

4

I have a mixed feeling about the faculty. Some of the teachers are really understanding and excellent in their job while there are others who aren't that good but they are always available to help you if you need help with anything. We had several industrial visits and also industrial training with certification.

The college curriculum is designed in such a way that it helped me a lot improving my English and skills. This would help me more in my further carrier. I learnt many skills through the ignitors program whkch5is conducted each year and this college focuses more on all round development.

I would like to tell that syllabus and curriculum they have is student friendly and doesn't give much pressure or torcher to students. Even this follows in the labs where labs are well equipped. I feel a bit less focus on industrial applications

Placement Experience:

We do have campus placements in our college. From 5th sem everybody is eligible to appear for campus placements. As far as I know there were Walmart,Paycheck, aceture, sony and many more. Almost about 30 to 50 students from each department get selected in placements. Not really sure about the percentage but somewhere in 60/100. My plans after the degree is to clear SSB or do my MCA .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Postives: - 3 major subjects covered within 3 years. - Options to add other preffered subject along with the main course. - Ability to divert to another field for Master's. Negatives: - Less time of study reduces the level of knowledge in each of the 3 individual subjects. - Bad combinations that have no relation to the other subjects. Summary: The course very well prepares us for the real world and further higher academic pursuits. Reducing the subjects to a dual major would be better for in depth study or increasing the time period to 4 years would also be great. More of practicals would be nice as it provides more practice for real life scenarios. The exams are difficult but the notes provided by the teacher in class and online makes the learning experience so much better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for BSc is simply the extended version of 11th and 12th standard portions in the first year. It includes the same concepts and the teaching method is rather ordinary and boring and doesn't seem to focus on making the students live the subject but is rather focussed on marks and other upcoming exams. A teacher kept insisting us to do certain problems skipping the others considering the factory that it is very important for a exam after UG. She also stated that everyone are most likely to take up teaching as a job after this which shows how narrow minded and shallow the opinions and minds of the teachers are. This amounts for a greater level of discouragement.
