Remarks

Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women is a preferable college for women. It has maximum safety. The faculty there will provide you with good knowledge over everything. They are very friendly and helpful. The college supports the women empowerment to the T. It encourages the sports. Hostels are also good with maximum security and good neatness. The labs are fully equipped and the library is the best. We can get almost all the helpful books including some novels. College also has a swimming pool and a movie theatre. Some cons of the college are canteen food but the mess food is good. The admission process to Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women is EAMCET. Fee reimbursement is also available for the eligible students. We have a bank in the college. So in the overall view, college is best for the girls. Faculty are forever ready to help us in any way. As I am from ECE department all I can say is I got the best help and assistance needed.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Every course at the college was good but ECE was the best. Students have counselling classes where a student can discuss whatever problem or assistance needed with the faculty. Every 20 students were assigned to a faculty and they will look after them academically. Most of the faculty completed their pg and some completed their PhD too and some were in the way to complete their PhD. We have two miss for every semester and internal and external lab examinations. At the end of the semester, there will be semester exams and then the semester break. The result is given by grading system and GPA.

Internships Opportunities

5

We did internships at Hindustan steel plant, BHEL, hyd, etc. These internships help us to get wayward knowledge about the environment in industries and technical knowledge too.

Placement Experience

4

Placements were good at our college. Placement training was also good. Companies like TCS, Infosys, cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture etc came for the campus placement. And the average package was about 3-7 lacks per annum. Some students applied for jobs through online ads. Some were interested in higher studies. SVECW also offers M.Tech and MBA programs too.

Fees and Financial Aid

College provides scholarship and fee reimbursement for the eligible students and for the tution fee it was 99850 for our batch. The placements were also good at our college. The training for the placements is given from 3-2 semester.

Campus Life

5

There were so many clubs in our college right from astronomy to music. The social life is too amazing. All you have to do is get into a club and rock your life. These clubs help us to increase our communication skills in a very effective way. Classrooms have ACs and very good ventilation. College gives us so many ways for us to participate in extracurricular activities. And the best part is all the club's mentioned in the college were run by students themselves with the commendable help from the lecturers.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel was good. They were friendly too. But the bad thing about the hostel is they increased the fee every year by 5000. And when we questioned about it they replied it was due to the increase in the cost of land. It was so barbaric. And mine was a non AC hostel. Imagine for ac hostel and an increase in the fee of 5000 every year. That's the only bad about the hostel facility. There was never a water problem in the hostel and also if we make any complaint regarding the hostel, they will try to repair it within a day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.
