Education in VVIT.

Positives: Our college is good in the discipline, placements and curricular activities. Management is also good except few. Negatives: Over discipline in few things and no mercy.

I got 9895 th rank in EAMCET-2010 and I did my B.Tech in ECE from Vasireddy Venkatadri Instiute of Technology which is located in Nambur, Guntur. Most of our faculty are experienced in their fields and shared their knowledge through out India and published many IEEE papers in respective fields.

My stream is Electronics and Communications Engineering.Course duration: 4 yearsTotal Semesters: 8 (2 per year)Total MID exams: 16 (2 per semester)One major project in the final year.

No stipend will be offered in our college. Some of my friends did the internship from IIT Chennai and some other institutions.

Our college is the best regarding the placements and almost 60 companies visited our college during my course. Many mock interviews will be conducted internally and special coaching will be given for aptitude, reasoning which will be helpful during the placements.

Each college will have a tech fest and VIVA is ours in which will have fun and cultural activities. Invitations of this will be sent to all the colleges through out the country for each year.

As mentioned, the course duration is 4 years. At starting of each academic year every student has to pay the fee. This is exceptional for fee reimbursement students i.e., they have to pay the fee whenever their bank accounts will be credited by the govt.Total fee=Academic fee+Bus fee(optional)+hostel fee (optional).

No scholarships will be provided by our college as of my knowledge.Fee reimbursement is there for students who can't bare the fee.

I leaned many things in my college regarding subject knowledge and about society. Gender ratio is almost same.Our college gives high priority to cultural activities.All are fine in our college but have to face a bit over discipline at a time.

I was a day scholar student, so I don't have much knowledge about our hostel facilities. Mess food is good with budget.

To be frank we didn't receive any help from our seniors regarding any thing. Our faculty only guided us in each step like seniors.They clarified our doubts and guided us in our projects.

In general for each year we will have labs schedule twice a week. There is a facility that a student can use laboratory at any time in the working days.

Faculty is highly qualified and experienced. Some of our faculty previously shared their teaching knowledge in prestigious institutions like IIT. Separate classes will be taken for GATE and CAT.
