Remarks

Well renowned college, good infrastructure, method of teaching by the professors is what I like the most.I had no other option other than joining this college and I really wanted to join a medical college. Since my marks were insufficient I had to join this private college but i wanted to write NEET 2018 and opt fr a govt college to which my parents disagreed and asked me to join this college as clashes about cancellation of NEET exam was going on right then. I opted for this course as i have keen interest in this field right from my school days.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus was up to date and patient exposure was moderate. Faculties are good, the non teaching staffs are OK to be honest, method of teaching taken up by the professors are excellent, they come up with updated information and make subjects more interesting.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Placement Experience

I am not much aware about the placements and job opportunities since most of the alumni from our college are doing their PGs and internships right now.

College Events

College allows us to conduct cultural fests and sports meets every year. Large number of students participate every year and the functions are quite impressive. Both off stage and on stage events are conducted.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is good, well built hospital, AC fitted lecture halls with CCTVs everywhere which is kinda irritating. They have a large library with almost all the medical text books and all the labs are well equipped.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel has a good infrastructure but no ACs are fitted which is quite disappointing i must say fr a fee of 2,25,000 for hostel alone. 3 inmates in one room is again disappointing as it feels congested. Each room has an attached bathroom and toilet with a balcony. It is furnished with study tables, beds and short tables. Parents aren't allowed inside the hostel which is again disgusting so overall hostel in this college sucks with its stupid rules. Girls are allowed to roam around the campus until 6 pm while boys are allowed until 9 pm which is unfair. It would be much better if the timings are changed to 7 pm for girls as I find this too early.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

The only good thing in this college is through clinical posting we learn so much clinical site works it was very useful Bad aspects are No proper class schedules and no qualified tutors are available, no stipend during 1 year internship period(365 working days) Difficult to afford notes from the library. Every every admission will be held in July month to august and college will be opened in the last week of August.
