Aafreen Sulu Feroz's Review On Shri Sathya Sai Medical College And Research Institute - [SSSMCRI], Chengalpattu

The college had good infrastructure and great faculties. It is situated in a very green, serene, peaceful and beautiful place. The garden of this college is a feast for the eye which is why my college is one of the most beautiful colleges in India. The ambience is very peaceful. The Central library is also the first things you notice.It is spacious and got all facilities and beautiful building.

The course, curriculum, academics, faculties everything was good. We were given enough practical exposure and even went on field trips once in awhile. Our anatomy professor, Dr Kafeel sir is an exceptionally brilliant professor.

As doctor, it would be easy to get job but most of us pursue post graduation soon after for which there is a wide array of opportunities and choices. For post graduation, again an entrance test has to be written and qualified.

Cultural activities are relatively less compared to other courses but we have had a fair share of fun. Once a year, the cultural are held which includes all kinds of sports, dance, singing, writing, speech, everything. We will be divided into various groups and it is the most exciting part of the year.Other than this, the other programs are very simple.

The Central library of our college is too good. It is very spacious and is air conditioned. It is a very silent place do your studies and it is open till 8 pm. The lab equipments, facilities and everything is fine. The college does not provide wifi. There is a wide ground in the campus and gyms for both boys and girls but sports is not mandatory.

The hostel is mandatory for students. The fee is about 1 lakh per year. The room is shared by 2 people. A few AC rooms are available but they are costly and hard to get. Since the college is in a very green area, you could be frequently visited by monkeys or dogs in the hostel.
