Remarks

It is one of the best colleges of the city and has lot of success backgrounds. The college has the best faculty and they possess a unique style of teaching. The staffs are so friendly with the students. Apart from being the top in the academics part the college also has a good success rate in the sports field too.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am not literally satisfied with my course curriculum. According to me the course syllabus we are learning now is lagging from the industrial knowledge that is going on now. So I would definitely recommend to improve our course syllabus in the upcoming years.

Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Internships Opportunities

No, I have not opted for any internship.

Placement Experience

We have a good placement and job opportunities. We have companies like Infosys, TCS, HCL and wipro visiting our campus for the placement purposes. We also have unique companies visiting our campus every year for various departments.

College Events

we always had a cultural and sport meet every year. It will be great joy among us and several students participate in it in various competitions and turn it out to be a grand one. We will have several events in the cultural events like a dance of all genres, music and the toppers of the university exams will be given cash prizes. We will also have several cultural programs.

Campus Life

We have a very good campus infrastructure. We have separate grounds for cricket, hockey, athletics, and football. We have a huge and separate block for library with several collection of books on all the topics we could search for. We are also provided with a good lab structure with accurate equipments for all the experiments.

Hostel Facilities

I am a day scholar. But still I have heard about the hostel life from my friends. the rooms are available for sharing. We have rooms for two or four or six people in a room and they will be provided with good food in the mess with clean and neat rooms.

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . i've applied to Ramakrishna,SRM trichy,CARE,kings and stjoseph engineering colleges along with saranathan college of engineering. comparing with other colleges, SCE has an outstanding teaching and it holds the rank of top 10 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.so i choose this college. everything is based on your cut-off ((physics,chemistry and maths) marks/2) in the 12th grade and JEE marks. based on these marks, you can choose the departments. if you have cut off mark above 185 you can get into CSE above 170 for ECE and etc...Read More
