Remarks

Overall the college is good. Sports is being enthusiased in the college. Its good to see the college growing day by day.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE, I choose the college because of the Computer Science field present in this college which is the best among the state and due to placement structure. I got a good rank in the entrance examination(34, 000) and this was sufficient to choose any branch in the private colleges present but I preferred Computer Science branch. The admission process was in two levels- 1) Document Verification, 2) Admission fees deposit and Admit card collection.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum is not so good. As a computer science engineer we need to focus more on the branch subjects. But it includes more paper from hardware, electrical etc. and theory part is more focused in the curriculum which is of no use to the students.

Internships Opportunities

A few companies were there which were not exactly offering the internship but invited us for some events like HR Induction, Enterpreneuship development, Personality improvement etc. Those were Confidence Factory, IMS, TIMES Institute, Infosys etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements is well and good, but it depends all upon the students and their academics performance. As the college doesn't allows the student having more than 3 backlogs or a non-career student to sit in campus. Companies which are the mass recruiters are-Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, capgemini, Mindtree. Job opportunites are well and good. And Infosys pays special attention to the college because of the students passed out and working brilliantly in the company. Its really good to have a backup part like this.

College Events

2.5

Some of the main College festivals are: Zygon(Annual Function), Noesis(TechFest) and Freshers welcome. They are good and students get an opportunity to go outside of the college and bring sponsor for the events which is the best thing being seen and observed.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, its not that big college which will avail us any loan offers. Scholarships are there based upon the academics performance. There is a scholar club present for the good scorers.

Campus Life

2.5

Gender ratio: 60:40, Labs facilities are good for first years. Little improvement needed in computer labs.Robotics club are trying to do on their own. There is no financial support from college.

Hostel Facilities

1

Hostel food is of very low quality and the mess food is having only breakfast in eatable condition. Apart from that, rooms are good. Cleaning and washing in on daily basis. But some facilities are still not satisfactory.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students will be obviously a little bit harsh when you are fresher but that pays off because they will help you at every step till you reach your third year.

Faculty

4

The faculties in the college are good and try their best to help the students and make them fit for the corporate world. Their nature and way of teaching is good enought accordings to the course prescribed by Univesity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the third year itself. In this placement season more than 90 percent of the eligible students got placed in several companies. The highest and average are yet not known. Several companies visited the campus with prominent ones being Microsoft, Dell, Xerox, Flipkart and more including several startups. After getting a degree if I am able to land a job the ok otherwise I will start my preparation for the defence sector or civil services.
