Remarks

Good Remarks about the college: Great atmosphere, good placement numbers, maintained academics, excellent sports playing opportunityBad Remarks about the college: Mess Food, Entry timing, over excess strict attitude towards students. Overall conclusion will be that may be the fees structure is high but one will get equal amount of exposure by opting for these college

Internships Opportunities

No, there is not something as intership. But yes, to the deserving students, it sends them to external institution/companies for scholarship or learning purpose. Some of them are like internship which pays a good package to the students. The general stipend provided from those companies was around 5000 per month. It was generally happening during summer vacation when classes/lectures are off. So, it's a good time spent by students learning something and gaining experience.

Placement Experience

3

Placements offered by college: Infosys and Wipro are Day 1 Sharing company. Infosys:3, 25, 000, around 200 placed, Wipro:2, 75, 000-3, 25, 000, around 132 placed. Within these, almost 100 are repeaters. Next, comes Mindtree which selects around 30 candidates. Then, Capgemini comes and selects 25-30 candidates. Capgemini is like alternating to us. It comes for one year, doesn't comes in second, then comes in third. And then Tech Mahindra is there which selects around 15 candidates. Other companies are Sankalp Semiconductors, Cognizant(pool campus), IBM India and other small startups. All the later companies mentioned offers a CTC package of around 3 lakhs to the freshers. For cognizant it's 3 lakhs exact. For Tech Mahindra, surprisingly the salary is disclosed. However, the students are offered on the basis of the training they take.

College Events

3.5

A few events celebrated in our college are: 1)Zygon(Annual Function), 2)Noesis(TechFest), 3)Freshers welcome and Orientation, 4)Intercollege sports tournament. These events are being organized by the college at different periods of time.Noesis is having different events included such as robotics, Coding, Web Designing. For robotics, we have a robotics club which organizes competition in both manual and automated. We also care for gamers and organize computer games such as Counter, Strike, NFS, FIFA etc. Now, when it comes to Zygon, it's a 3 day event where each and every branch gathers and do some stage performance, mostly final year students. Also, some festivals are being celebrated in college such as Diwali, Holi, New Year etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure can be said as expensive in comparision to the facilties being provided by the college. Also, the mess food is very bad during dinner. It is ok and just eatable during breakfast and lunch. A total of 3 times meal is being provided by the college. Lunch is also available for Day scholars. Hostel facilites are good enough for students in comparision to other private colleges. And, the best thing about hostel life is it's the main part of engineering. During first year, a few students are being kept in dorm rooms which is big enough to accomodate atleast 20 people. So, the best thing is all students connect a strong bond with each other during this period.

Fees and Financial Aid

College do provides loan facilities for students. It has a tie up with some banks who are ready to offer educational loan upto a limit of 4 lakhs.I personally have availed a loan from Oriental Bank of Commerce. I take it accordingly as per installment basis for every year. So that I will be charged less rate of interest. For bigger loans, if required then the person have to take it on his own risk and also provide some security for the purpose if you need a bigger amount.

Campus Life

3

Campus Life: Super goodGender Ratio:9 girls to 10 boys so it was good.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors will be a bit tough with you during your first six months of college. Yes, Ragging, or let's say informal introduction and fun is a part of college. But if we look it in long run, then it is helpful for students as for the rest of their college life, seniors are very helpful. The more is your interaction with the seniors, the more they will share your information with you and for the college academics, you will always be ready for the things to come and know what is going to be held where and you will be prepared accordingly. Also you will get books, study materials, idea about placement statistics from the seniors. So, I would say that students must have a strong bond with their immediate senior.

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.
