Remarks

I opted for many colleges like SVCE, SSN, SRM, VIT, ANNA UNIVERSITY and so on but those colleges required more cut off and mine was not upto the mark so i looked for other colleges in phase 2 in that i applied for Rajalakshmi engineering college for CSE and EEE, and meenakshi sundar rajan college for CSE and EEE, and st. Joseph college of engineering for CSE and EEE. So after the counselling i got selected in RAJALAKSHMI ENGINEERING COLLEGE for CSE course.

Course Curriculum Overview

According to academics our college gives much importance to studies and faculties are mostly friendly and you can have some freedom. As far as faculties teaching ability is concerned there are some faculties who teach really well and there are some who have the knowlege but teaching is poor.

Our college is collabrated with TCS so that most of our college students get placed in TCS. Other companies like infosys zoho and so on also places students with good cgpa. Mostly 90% of students get placed

At first i didn't like my college to be true because in our college there is a concept called student care who are equal to pet sir's they keep punishing for wearing slippers and for having a beard and for wearing casual pants but later when i graduated from 1 year to 2nd year all the student cares didn't care about us and we gained some freedom. While speaking of extra curricular activities if you are a sports person prefer someother colleges because our college doesn't give much importance to sports

Campus Life

Infrastructure is ok nothing special about it, it looks like a normal college its not that big or too small a decent college with decent infrastructure. One big canteen is available name hut cafe which has a big hut like infrastructure which looks good

Hostel Facilities

I am a dayscholor but i have a basic knowledge about hostel. I hear my friends saying the food is not good all the time. So hostel food quality is poor but as far as infrastructure and wifi connection it is good

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . I got seat at srm chennai but it was too long for me and it couldnt manage the travel because i should catch the bus at morning 6 am and i will return to home around 5 50pm. So nearly 12 hours. So rejected it and choose rec chennai because it is near to my location. I will catch the bus at 6 55 am and i will come to home at 4 15 pm. I wasnt applied to other clg so there is no rejection.Simple admission process just show ur orginal 12th certificate and cutoff marks.If your abive 80% cutoff u can pay minimum donation if doesnt enough for the course which u applied. Counselling is the better way to avoid donations and cutoffs may change for the caste....Read More
