Remarks

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Course Curriculum Overview

We were provided enough industrial exposure. The faculties in our college are highly qualified and student friendly. They tend to clear all the doubt that a student has. i don't think I would have got any good faculties over any other college

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I interned in Apollo transformers and got a stipend amount of _7000 for a month of training.

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.

College Events

I guess our college fest is the best fest among all the other govt colleges in Odisha leaving beside NIT. Every year our college holds atheletic meet and sports meet. The students also show interest in every events. It is a very good environment around the college when the events are around.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any scholarships or loans. But there are many scholarshipa available for students.

Campus Life

As our college is newly established the infrastructure is not that good. There are some buildings that have not been completed. But contrary to that we have a very good library containing of all the book required by a student. The sports facility at our college are also good. The labs is provided with sophisticated equipments and utmost care is taken of all that

Hostel Facilities

I have not opted for hostel. I have been staying in PG's since my frst year. The average expenditure for a student in a month will be nearly 5-6 thousands. Within this amount you can find good PG's in places near the college.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
