Remarks

I chose NIT Kurukshetra because it is a reputed institution and offers outstanding placement. I opted for the course because I am interested in machines and industries. Moreover its placement is nice there.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is not updated wholly but is good. Since i have just entered into second year I have not yet got industrial exposure. But seniors do have got this. The faculty members are expert and helpful and my favourite is Dr JK Kapoor.

Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is outstanding for CSE and IT. For other branches it is average. Companies like Google, Airtel, Adobe, Facebook, Flipkart, Amazon, PSUs and others visit the campus for recruitment. There is a training and placement cell which looks after the placement and training of students. The alumni network is strong and helpful.

College Events

There are numerous fests and events which take place in the campus premises. Techspardha is a technical fest which receives participants in huge numbers and is north India's biggest fest. Confluence is the Cultural fest which is celebrated with great pomp and show. Besides there is Utkarsh and Convocation too.

Campus Life

NIT Kurukshetra has all the facilities required for an engineering student. It has a vast sports complex, wifi available in campus as well as in hostels, a very big library and book bank. The labs are equipped with modern and advanced technologies and machineries.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel buildings are newly constructed, except for first year students. Students in first year are allocated sharing three-seater room and from second year onwards single seater room is allotted to students. The hostel facility is easily accessible to all.

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
