Remarks

This clg is good for study lovers and also good for fun lovers who donot want to study. Yup m right no ristrictions here for study and attendance its left upon students what they want. Me a study lover and likes 2 enjoy with frnds i love that thing i make my mind to take admission here. I love my clg expierence more than my school.

Companies like Godrej, Videocon, Airtel, HCL and many more good companies with stipend between 5k to 10k.

Fest every year, lohri fest, diwali fest, Cultural gidda and bhangra competion, fashion show for all organised by BSE fashion.

No i did not availed any but for poor students schlorship is dere by punjab govt and bus pass is also available

Campus Life

Boys are more than girls.other states strengh is good people from kashmir, bihar, up, rajasthan are of increasing strengh session by session, ragging here is not allowed and people here also donot like to do activities like that. Sikhs are more in strengh, politics is less and economic status is average.

Hostel Facilities

Due to private clg hostels are build good to attract students. Hostel fees is 32000 for 6 months and food is delicious some time. Yes sometyme but snacks with tea are good everyday.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

I said before senior donot like to rage their juniors and many of them are helping. In projects seniors are adviced to help their juniors in labs.

Faculty here is very good becoz this is in the top Colleges of punjab.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.
