Remarks
I got it online in the first round. I applied in second but did not get any college of my choice. So had to proceed with DY patil medical college kolhapur as i had to pursue medicine as my career. But for now I love the facilities my college provide as compared to government colleges as mine is deemed university.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was pretty much updated with the whole course, Syllabus, years, teachers as we had orientation programme for a week. All the facilities are good. We have got a clean dissection hall. Microscope for each student. Auditorium is there. Our hospital has balcony for viewing operations from where the operation theatre is visible.
Placement Experience
We get internship in the same hostpital where we studied. For example, now I'm studying in DY patil Medical college kolhapur. So I'll get internship or may be job placement in DY patil hostpital kolhapur itself.
College Events
Our college is very active overall, we have our student council organizing all the festivals in the college and celebrating it with enthusiasm. We all participate actively in our college fest every year. We have dance, singing, plays, fashion show, quiz, etc in our fest.
Campus Life
We have library, E library or digital library, we have badminton court, biochemistry lab, anatomy museum, clinical lab, suturing kits, etc. We have well equipped operation theatres. Wifi though is not available.
Hostel Facilities
We have a clean hostel. There is a room for 2 people. That is its just me and my roommate. I guess the rooms would have been spacious, as it would provide much comfort. The fees for our hostel in Kolhapur is rs. 100000 per year or annum. Its very efficient as we have hostel and campus at a distance of hardly 1 km.
