I chose this college over others because its great with faculty and infrastructure. Its spacious, rich in flora and fauna, peaceful, lush green and so much more. The teachers were very nice and supportive even before admission. Everyone was really kind to me.

My course is very well updated i would say. It;s in sync with Panjab University. We working 2 hours doing our lab work which enhances our practical knowledge a lot. Besides, everyone is very supportive and peer is really great. Sometimes we did face issues because of miscommunication but later everything was resolved. We are given weekly tests and assignments to keep up with our progress. Despite that there is a class discussion session each time we finish a topic. Overall its a great learning experience.

I have been part of few internships, though i m in 2nd year and still pursuing my degree. I have been a campus Ambassador at Aspire for her, Abhyuday IIT Bombay, Hamari Pahchan NGO, Collegedunia, cvDragon, Youth Employment Foundation and more. Mostly the stipend was performance based or cash rewards of 1000 and more. I got all of these interships off campus.

In my course, we are being taught about market and practical knowledge. One can always contact teachers regarding placements or any sort of help. there is no specific placement cell in my college but there a re a lot of off campus opportunities which one can refer. I have found a lot of internships from myself just by using this criteria

The Campus life is great i would say. Its fun to be there, interact with everyone, take part in events, play fun games. Our college is up for fests mostly. Once admission process is completed and classes are started, we have Fresher's party followed by Fashion Fiesta and inter college fests, Youth fests all lined up. There is even a sport's day and anyone can take part in it. There are a lot of students that take part in inter college fests and it is a great event. Besides, there is gurpurab celebrations, teej celebration and other festive celebrations frequently. I represented my college in Inter-college fest in coding & programming competition. Overall it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Mostly scholarships are mentioned in the prospectus itself or even on the college websites, but i will list a few i know. 1. Mittal-Pandey Scholarship: The criteria for this one is that you must be a student of BA/BSc./B.Com 1st year and if you have scored more than 70% in 10+2 with family income 3 lac per annum, you are eligible to apply. 2. Riots Victim Scholarship- This is awarded to those whose families are riots hit and have been issued red card by the government. 3. For backward classes- This is awarded to students belonging to backward classes who have passed the prev exam with 60% marks and family income is less than 1 lac per annum. 4. For SC/ST- The criteria remains the same as per Backa=ward classes, just family income should not exceed 2.5 lac per annum

The Campus is superb with all the facilities well equipped. Our lab is under a LAN network and works perfectly well. There are more than 30 computers in each lab. Total of 3 labs on one floor. The library of our college is spacious and windy always, being it any season. There are a lot of books. There is also a separate reading room where one finish up their tasks or practice dance or anything. Besides, GNGC has a big ground where girls have their lunch or playfully sit under sun during winters. It's quite a great experience and a great break between lectures.
