Awanish Raj's Review On Bihar National College, Patna

I choose this college because after 12th board completion I want to study higher education in my home town. I search for college in my home town which complete any bachelor's degree course within 3 year on time. I look for Patna University, this university is top best universities in bihar. In this university I apply for two college then I selected for Bihar National College. This college is small but it has many facilities. In this college faculty are best according to their department. I like special thing of this college that timming of class is very good that is 7 am to 11 am. I have lots of time to study other subjects. It has labs many other facilities. So, for this way I want to join my college. I opted this course because I have intrested in computer science and want to become a software engineer and very curious about technical thing.

My course syllabus is very much updated as compare to last year. My college provide 20 course across 4 streams which I pursuing B. Sc in Computer Application. It doesn't provide enough industrial exposure and any other internship. The academic of my college is good but not better. I give rating 5 out of 10. The faculties are good but some faculties are not teaching well. I like only one faculty that teach very well named Shamit Sarkhel. He teach many programming language like C, C++, Visual Basic, Java, etc. His teaching style is different from other that is in a simplified manner.

No, I have not opted for any internship yet.

In my college their is no company visited and does not provide placements as compare to other college. Our seniors placed from different college of same university. Placement department is not active in my college and it do not give any placement cell.

My campus life is not good it do not provide any technical events. Only it conduct cultural events like dance and sangeet and this event is big that other college students also participate. Every year college conduct annual sports day which I participate in chess competition.

Infrastructure of my college is good but building are not well maintained. Sports facilities are also good and play ground are well maintained from this year. WiFi are also available in our campus and size of the library is big that all types of books are available. Equipment in labs are also well maintained. In a every class room projector is set for students. These all above facilities given in this year and it improve day by day.

No, I have not opted for Hostel because hostel infrastructure is very bad and rooms are also dirty. The building of hostel are just like collapsing. Our seniors are capture the hostel rooms and they make their own rules and regulation to run hostel. The average rentals for PG's for seat sharing is about 1600/year. I am not prefer my hostel facilities and I suggest that don't opted for hostel.
