Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose political science as a subject it will help in preparing for various competitive examination such upsc and other state pcs level examination and it will strengthen my knowledge of politics and will raise awerness regarding the constitution of India and other countries which will help me in getting into various world government institutions such as imf wto human rights clubs international amnesty and ngos . The areas of improvement it requires is traditionally required topic should be cut out and scope for apprenticeship should be implemented, political tour should be given to students in order to expedite exposure for their knowledge of the subject real life application should be encouraged. The exams are held annually during 1st year we have two papers as honours and two subjects as subsidiary and two papers as composition which is compulsory

Internships Opportunities

1

Sorry unfortunately there is lesser chances of internship or placements maybe only one or two one being medha foundations social groups such as nss and one can look for internships and placement outside the campus and online only.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Bihar National College is a constituent unit of Patna University, it is a glory heritage.it has a very nominal fees as compared to other colleges one has to pay admission fee of 2000 inr for boys and it's very nominal for girls who have to pay only 180 to 208 inr one can pursue there studies with the help of Bihar student credit. One has pay the registration fee of 500 inr during registration time and 700 inr as examination fee

Campus Life

2

The campus is average in size it ranked b naac but day by day it is improving and strive to be at a grade naac we have cultural and drama club in the society We have sports club in the college Debate club and a science club the college comprises of a canteen which is less accessible library lack of hygiene and walls are cracking we have lot of political groups as student union election group in the college impacting student studies and career thus decriminalising the students and spreading anti social elements in the college

Admission

The colleges I applied are patna women,s college , nift , Patliputra University, patna college, magadh mahila and Banaras Hindu University The colleges I got selected were patna women,s college , Patliputra University, patna college and Banaras Hindu University The reasons I chose this college are following reasons The college was less far from my home The college faculties were better as compared to other colleges The exams were held on time and results were also published on time I missed my counselling date for bhu and already submitted my documents to the college

Faculty

4

There used to be very less ratio of girls as compared to boys due to following reasons It was a man oriented college in early days The campus was full of hooligans The hostel was clogged with hooligans making it unsafe for women to study , even students who already graduated used to stay in the hostel and vandalised the whole campus.but scenario is improving day by day the ratio of girls is increasing since covid and removal of the entrance system for admission the faculties members are also cooperative the faculties members I like are Dr Varsha Shekher associate professor, Dr Munna professor and dr jai prakash having great knowledge of the subject

One should take admission if have to do nonattending classes. The student thinking to do attending classes should not take admission. Because regular classes are not taken. Overall good college for local students. And also a good cheap option.

The college is good, faculties are experienced, the process of learning is fun but the college is having worst placements and also there are no internship opportunities provided that makes the college reputation bad, the college should focus ion this so that students could get placed in upcoming years. Gaya is a good college with good faculties, nice infrastructure, good social life and much more.
