Remarks

I wanted to learn a unique course, and genetic engineering is one of the rare courses in India. Btech in the field of biology, who would have thought that. Also it's an upcoming course with a bright future.

Course Curriculum Overview

As i already said, it's a very rare course, people are still finding out about this. Overall this course has high opportunity in abroad. The academics are not so bad. Faculties are really helpful but sometimes they become careless and lenient.

Placement Experience

The placements for biotechnology are less or null. Other departments get placements and many recruiter come to college but the salary package is average. Also no big companies visit the campus.

College Events

It's an average campus, not so extravagant. It has necessary labs, rooms and good classrooms. It's a very old institution so they are renovating and building new classrooms and new blocks. No such extra curricular activities is done here. Only studying. The library is fantastic here.

The curriculum is vast. But dental also deals with practical skills. So it's not that hard. The exams can be hard if you prepare at the last minute. But otherwise it's manageable. We write 3 IA and one final paper. And we get to write a mock paper before the finals. We'll be having model practical exams as well before the final practical exam.

It was good. While admission there will be lot of process which we have to do. Based on intermediate marks they can conform u a seat. There will an entrance exam to join in our college but it will conduct in the month of December to February so u can write those entrance exam.
