Remarks

It's the best government university providing agriculture and applied education in india and also awarded as best university in Uttrakhand. Campus is very peaceful, clean and full of greenery which gives you study environment

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is well updated but are very basic in first two semesters that almost every student aquire cgpa above 7. Faculties are the best thing about the university Gbpuat is also awarded with best faculty award in year 2019

Class Size: 22Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are good after graduation as food science graduates are in high demand but the placements right after graduation are very less due to median to low salary package offering to students so most students prefer to not settled for jobs right after graduation and are not dependent on placements from campus.

Campus like is fun only if you have very good group of friends to hang around otherwise it can get boring,if you are an introvert. Events do takes place with big amount of participation from students because it is the only source of entertainment from boring busy study schedule.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

DBS: Best Business School of Uttarakhand

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
