Remarks

This is one of the biggest university of agriculture in India. It's near my home town.and this university has 8 colleges for different degree programs.and students all over India came here for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is practical based mainly and informative.this semester based is a 4 year degree program.The result of SEM is based on 2 internal,1 external and lab final exam.The faculty is so deciplined and strict.and the attendance is 85 %.

Class Size: 22Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Placement Experience

The campus placement is not so good.There is entrepreneur ship cell for contacting different organizations and companies for jobs and placements.there are many alumini meet all over the year for career counseling and linking with them.

College Events

The campus life is qiute boring as we have to live in the campus there are no hotels, shopping malls and theatres.but the schedule is so tight.there are many student societies for organising different events in university for different skill development.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
