Remarks

University is well known and with good icar ranking and considered as best among all agriculture universities in india and the graduates from this college is doing good in their life so,these are the main reasons of choosing this university and i opted for food science and technology because it is the next preferred branch after agriculture

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are qualified enough and the only reason why most students didn't opt for this branch because food technology is self financed course it charges additional fee of 50,000 from students other than that syllabus is updated and provided with good industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

Job opportunities right after graduation is very difficult but some companies do visit campus with offering fair amount of package but mostly students don't even sit for placement they go for msc or mba

College Events

Campus life is fun-filled various competitions like debate, allocation and various cultural activities are organised by different college societies with huge participation from students side. If some one living near pantnagar not opted for hostel then he/she definitely miss the fun of campus life.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
