Vijay Verma's Review On Potti Sriramulu College Of Engineering And Technology - [PSCMRCET], Vijayawada

It is a good college with good exposure the main advantage is the locality of the college which has conveyance by all ways management always tries to solve the problems and they are very friendly overall we can say it is a better college to mould our life.

I took EAMCET entrance exam in 2008 for getting admission in this college.This college was established in the year 2008 but it is partially managed by KBN degree college which is one among the best colleges of vijayawada. I took course of EEE(Electrical and Electronic Engineering) which is the toughest course in engineering. I choose this course as I was interested in study of electrical machines.

Course is of 4 years where we have to attend and qualify in eight semesters to get our certificate.

We doesn not have internship program but we have to complete a project we done our project in Vijay electricals of vijayawada our project is about instrument transformers.

We attended some campus interviews in our final year but companies are not good. Some of the companies are fake and some companies are of Okay type. I attended for an interview conducted by Vision tech company in our college. Some companies are good but some are fake.About 100 students were placed in different companies in 2012 including MBA students.

Our college conducts some technical and cultural festivals which provides knowledge as well as entertainment. I also conducts some sporting events.

Our college does not have Hostel facility. It has a very good mess facility and the rates are also comparably low when compared to the public hotels. They just charge around 40 rupees per meal and only 10 to 15 rupees for breakfast the college is situated in the heart of the city so there wont be any problem in getting accommodation for rent.

I did not avail any loan and the scholarships will be provided by Andhra pradesh government for Economically backward students.

We enjoyed many sporting events and cultural workshops . The college conducts many festivals and farewell,freshers parties. There is no gender discrimination and racial discrimination.

We are the first batch students of our college. But we are very kind to our juniors and we gave better guidance to our juniors.

Faculty is very promising and they will always try to deliver their best.We had many practical classes where we got a great chance to sharpen our skills.
