Remarks

No bad remarks very nice college and I recommend so many to join there.

Entrance Preview

CAT emtramce in the year 1997 rank only 7000 which was not enough to get admission in govt college got chance to study bsc electronics and followed by msc applied electronics in psg college of arts and science.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum is good and faculties well qualified and most of them experienced topics included in the curriculum were all advanced topics.

Internships Opportunities

No internship and stipend for msc electronics course.I don't have so much to say about it as our course is not one requiring internship. The other science courses and catering and hotel management courses might be requiring it.

Placement Experience

3.5

Job opportunities are asusual which depend more on the students quality. All of the batch mates are now well settled but not through college placement cell as in those years for our course placement was rare.

College Events

4

College day, and arts day of all the courses had been a big celebration always. Almost every one in the class participate in one or the other item technical festivals are conducted every year for professional courses exhibitions conducted by all the departments.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible per year 10000 and a donation of 40000 at the beginning detail figures are not available if this is compulsory for your survey u will have to consult the college authorities the fee structure might b changed a lot by now.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not aware of it as it is ine of the best colleges in India, there should be scholarships fir excellent students i am not aware of it so no comments.

Campus Life

5

Campus life was completely in coherent with the student's academic progress. Students were not allowed to crowd here and there or in the corridor. Politics were never allowed inside the campus. Extra curricular activities were all healthy. Most attractive thing is that once in a while we were taken in the big cinema auditorium at night whete recently released films were played. Note boys and girls were taken separately. Poojas used to b there in the temple inside the campus at night from were we get prasadam and it gave is a chance to roam around in the csmpus.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel room in which I stayed was a sharing one two of us shared a room which was spacious and had an attached bathroom/ toilet facility. Toilet cleaning done by the cleaning staff mess were clean and the food committee formed by the students designed yummy menus.

Alumni/Alumna

Not gone for alumini but seniors were all very helpful the certificate would be given only if an extra course is taken by the students this gave exposure with senior students.

Exam Structure

As the college is a deemed university, exams were all held on time results came on time everything strictly according to the exam calander.

Faculty

4

Faculty delivered lectures excellently and maintained the standard the library facilities were 100% utilized by all the students as the classes finished by 1.30 and students prepare their notes by themselves.

The main aspect of mine to choose this course is , I am very interested in the zoology, so , I choose this course by myself. The curriculum prepares you for the both real world applications and for the further academic pursuits. They asked you to take seminars in the class. You can take seminar in you interested way by chalk and talk method or by PPT. The examination hours are 3 hours. It will help you to manage the time properly.

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. My aim was to getting placed in a company with good reputation and descent salary package.
