Remarks

It's the first university to be established in india and among the best icar university with good nirf ranking and considered as best agriculture university among any other universities in india and also a well reputed government Institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I've completed first year so subjects were very basic in first two semesters like physics, chemistry, english, agriculture. Have not got industrial exposure till now but had good field experience considering agriculture aspects. Faculties are very hard working and supporting though and always ready to help.

Class Size: 24Course Fees: INR 43000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are almost like nil in food technology but internships are provided in last semester but some students do get placed from agriculture and from btech branch but most of them preferred to opt for higher studies.

College Events

Campus life can get bit boring at times if you have not made enough good friends because pantnagar is a world to itself. Students are not allowed to roam outside the campus and the rules are even strict for girls.various cultural events do take place organised by different socities in big scale even big bands are also been invited to events like dharohar etc.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
