Remarks

This is basically a women's university, also there are good placements in this university also their is a lot of activities going for the refreshments of students so after seeing their website I got fasiciliated and took admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good we have to go college for 5 days in a week and saturday-sunday is a holiday so we can complete our assignments projects also we get some rest too.Recently our syllabus got updated in year 2019.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 104764 per year

Placement Experience

Yes its quite good. We have big comapny visiting like Barclay's, Capegemini. Also there are mass quipments company which visits like Accenture. Other company like collegeate, Tata, and many other also visits.

College Events

Yes as I mentioned there were 6 commitee in UMIT where the students commitee is a biggest and largest. The main fest of UMIT is Arcanes Illusion which takes place at a grand level and the fest is of 2 days, mostly in the start of March. There were both technical and non-technical events took place where students from different college participate and there were also a cash prizes available for the winners of around 50000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes we can take education loan also we can apply for instalments of fees. Fees should be payed in form of DD or NEFT

Campus Life

There are basically six commitee in UMIT including Sports commitee too. There is one week in march which we called as a sports week where one claaa compit with other class also withing the faculty too there were matches. Talking about wi-fi, no there is no wi-fi in the campus. Yes but library is well maintained and synchronize properly where we can get all types of books.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
