Remarks
i wanted to go for architecture in a govt. college, so i ended up here. i got around 4-5 govt colleges and many private colleges,as i scored well in NATA AND JEE. but my father wanted me to go for a govt college. i first got NIT hamirpur, NIT patna, JNFAU hyderabad, etc. NITs were far from the present home, so i went for JNFAU but due to some reasons they declined the admission. and i ended up in CET
Course Curriculum Overview
the course and syllabus has everything included thats needed i guess. But the drawback is that faculties are not good enough also we dont get to experience field works. it's totally based inside the classroom which makes the course very inefficient sometimes. but at the end of the day it is us,students, who should make an effort for the extra learning and knowledge.
Placement Experience
b.Tech people get the placements quite easily. big and renowned companies do visit the college, e.g TCS I really dont know about the placement process as i am from BArch and we dont get placements rather we go and join firm based on our experiences, connections and internship.
College Events
campus life is healthy, events are not really upto the date or as presumed. Alot of efforts and works are needed from the people to make it return to the track. people need to stop wasting money and being dull when it comes to college programs and events.
Campus Life
the infrastructure isn't upto the mark, it's remote now. which also affects the psychology of the students. also somehow we people are responsible for not making a point about this. the buildings are renovated once in 6years when the govt actually gives the money to update it every 2years i guess. basically some parts( the buildings which were built recently) are really good and clean and looks decent. but overall it doesnt really make anyone happy.
Hostel Facilities
hostel infrastructure and facilities (girls) are really good, its clean and very much disciplined. we dont really face problems regarding cleanliness as they come and clean everyday, the mess provides 3 times meal which is surprisingly good enough.
