Remarks

The main key factors that made me choose this university was it's the first agriculture university to be established in india with overall NIRF ranking of 52 and was awarded with best university of uttrakhand in 2017 and apart from that it has huge attractive campus with good infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is pretty well enough and provided with good field exposure. I think faculties are the best thing about this university. There's hard working and focus on every individual. Dr. Gagan dixit is really motivating and supporting

Placements are generally poor it depends upon the individual hardly 20% students get placed and remaining decided to go for higher studies instead.

College Events

I really enjoy my campus life, night events and various concerts are also being organised by different societies regularly with actively participation of almost every hostel residents. Different societies are there in our college which holds and organize different cultural programs and fests.

Campus Life

Campus is really big which is spread in 12,661 acres and has a good sports stadium wifi is also available to students of every hostels.The Labs need to maintained regularly as they are not in pretty good conditions

Hostel Facilities

Hostels rooms are shared with three partners in first year and from later next year are shared with two in case of girls and single rooms are allotted to boys. Hostels rooms are good enough with good wifi and with others facilities.

Hostel Fee: INR 45362 per year

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is quite good as various companies from all over the country show up at DBS for the internships and placements such as HDFC, Deloitte, Haffele, TCS etc. There are barely any student who dont get placed. As for my plans after getting my bachelor's degree is to either work for a good company if and when i get placed otherwise definitely grab the offer for the masters degree in management.

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.
