Ashish Kushwaha's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NITP], Patna

The academics Department of my college is very lazy.they are not active enough that is required they usually use to say that the concerned member is not available please contact after sometime. The detailed procedure of anything like fee receipt, bonafied certificates etc does not mentioned any where even the syllabus are not uploaded on website.

I had crack JEE MAIN 2013 i have interest in engineering specially mechanical so i have choose this stream B.Tech for my undergraduation.

Course curriculum is not so good but i am ok with it in my opinion the B.Tech curriculum should be research oriented and should able to create practical interest in students our faculties are highly qualified and they have helping nature they are always ready to help us related to our studies.

I had internship in IIT ROORKEE in june 2105.I had applied for it and selected the professor of IIT ROORKEE are highly qualified and supportive in nature there was no stipend provided to the students.

There were almost 215 people placed in my college till date companies like Maruti suzuki, Mu-sigma, Dhristi software solution, IBM, Infosys, L&T and many more to come they offer a very good package at average of 7.0 lac per annum.

Our college holds tech fest- CORONA, cultural fest MEALANGE and Sports meet- PARAKRAM. The tech-fest and cultural fest of our have a huge attraction and 3000 students from more than 15 colleges participated in it.

Hostels are not available for all the students of my college only 30% students are able to get hostel on the basis of merit.the hostel fee is 12000 per annum and mess fee is 11000 for 5months the PGs outside hostel is quite costly they charged around 2500 per month for room and 2600 per month for food.

No there is no scholarship awarded to the students from the instuitute.

The campus life is good and enjoying.gender ratio is very bad there were a lot of extra curricular activities organised in our institute labs are not in maintained periodically sports facility is also in working condition the competitions like robotics, debate, aptitude etc are organised regularly.

The best thing in NIT Patna that I have observed is the SENIORS they are very supportive and helping in nature they stand for help every moment.
