Remarks

The college is having huge and attractive infrastructure which helps students to learn and grow their skills. The college also has NCC Unit which was of greater interest to me. Also I have heard many good reviews about it from my seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well designed. The curriculum is well planned as one never feels that the course is difficult. We were also provided more than 20 mock interviews which helped us to identify our weaknesses. The faculty members are very supportive.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 401000 per year

Placement Experience

Although I haven't got placed yet but I have heard that placement and job opportunities are very much high. Infosys,Wipro,Bebo are major companies. Our seniors told us that the placement packages are really good.

College Events

The campus life was really awesome and the thing which I liked most during my stay was that college provided large number of opportunities to all of us in extracurricular field. The events are conducted regularly.

Course curriculum is not well oriented by the officials Things we need to know for doing patients are not well taught bcoz that's is what we need for MDS (post graduation) so they donot teach them now Which is wrong So according to me Clinical stuff and practicals should be more concetrated on instead of theoretical study There need to be a mid term exam conducted likewise in MBBS for better preparation Proper test which are not regularly conducted should be there Teachers need to be hired Posts for teachers are vacant Teaching staff needs to teach students instead of pgs

Overall university is nice but i would suggest to opt for government colleges if you are looking in Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

In last year means in semester 5th , amity offers placements. Companies visited was amazon, Google, microsoft , airtel , flipkart , deloitte and adobe in 2023. Package:- highest 10 lakh per annum and average was 5-6 lakh per annum offered by deloitte and hdfc 8000+ students got placements. My plans after the degree are Ma in clinical psychology from abroad.

Its is good college in terms of money and their atmosphere

Placement Experience:

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

Life at GMC Patiala

I chose this as it is one of the well-known colleges for mbbs in Punjab. 10:225, Faculty, are postgraduates. With an experience of more than 5years mostly. At the end of the year, there were exams that are a bit difficult to pass.
