Remarks

Everything is good expect the behaviour of the college authority after admission. in first year they treat us like their own child but after first year when 2nd semester ends they change.

It was the biggest mistake of my life to join that college they don't have any kind of equipment in the college not a proper faculty.

Simply no because there is no placement cell in this college normal companies will come like stock marketing nd these kind of don't make a big dream if you are going to take admission here.

They have different kind of fee structure for each and every student if u belongs to Odisha u will be treated like king but if you're an outsider then this college is not for you.

Yes everything is conducted but apart from other colleges this college will take money for each and every function which they will conduct and if you don't pay then the seniors will torture you.

The only best thing about this college is its hostel where only two students gets a room with an attached bathroom.

Collage Review of IIIT

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Most of people go for PHDs and research after this course so the number of placements is a little less. Also, this unique Integrated Mtech course is new and the first batch of this 5 year course soon will be passed out. They are getting placement offers of 8-8.5 LPA per annum.

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Highest placement is 1.5 crore and the average package is 8 to 9 lakh rupees. About 70 percent students getting placed. I want to job in MICROSOFT.

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

After the completion of 12th , I gave OJEE and got a good rank , and then I applied in a government scholarship scheme which is called TFW and got selected by this collage, for that scheme my 50% course Fee got waved.
