Student's Review On Bharath University - Bharath Institute Of Higher Education And Research - [BIHER], Chennai

I opted for this college because this college has the course which I wanted. Also the hostel was inside campus only. The college and hostel fees are not so high. It was best college as compare to other colleges I opted for.

When it comes to the faculty team, they are average. Some of the branches have good faculty members and some may not. Teaching methods and practical learning should be done here, and the faculty members only teach for exam purposes and to get a good CGPA, so the skills need to be developed by students themselves. Overall, the faculty team is below average.

When it comes to placements, it is very good at present. My senior batch, who have got good skills, got placed. The highest salary offered was 15 lakhs per annum and the average offered is 3.2 lakhs. The companies which visited are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL etc and a lot more small companies. I can assure that a student who will acquire is going to get placed.

The campus life is boring. I thought that I will enjoy in college but here strict rules are there. Also there are no events conducted in college. We were not given freshers party, neither there are any type of fests conducted from last few years.

The college classrooms are large. The labs are really superb and the library is the most awesome thing to be noted. It provides the Wi-Fi 24-hours only for educational purpose. Anti-ragging and women harassment is specially treated. The college has provided two canteens in the campus where the food quality is good. But, the sports facilities have to be improved and maintained here. The hostel rooms are good but the food is average. I feel that the college auditorium has to be built more attractively and a special care to be taken for improving the infrastructure.
