Remarks

The college has rigorous academics. We have to attend college 365 days in a year that means no holiday. The college provides great placement opportunities with a average package of 7 lakh. The college helps in overall development.

Course Curriculum Overview

We are provided with very good faculties. All the faculties are visiting faculties which also go to institutes like Symbiosis. Professor Javed kalim is renowned faculty for marketing as he makes us study with help of examples.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am pursing internship with Bajaj Capital, as a management trainee.

Placement Experience

There are 350 companies which visit the campus every year. These companies are renowned such as Tata, Wipro, Metro, More, Mahindra and Mahindra. The placement department works very hard to ensure 100 % placement every year.

College Events

The college celebrates all the events on a grand level. There are three cultural events between the students in which everyone takes part in one way or the other. These events helps in overall development of the students.

Campus Life

The campus included a two auditoriums with 1000 seating capacity for guest lectures and other events. It also has a gym, swimming pool, 3 mess options. There are four institutes which are Bimm, Bimhrd, Biib, Bitm

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and always willing to help with academic or research projects.
The campus infrastructure is excellent, featuring modern labs, a well-stocked library, and great sports facilities.
Placement opportunities are robust, with many top-tier companies visiting the campus for recruitment every year.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

College is Good

Likes

Infrastructure is just too good- Building is Fully Air Conditioned
Placement are really decent for a Commerce Graduate around 6-7 Lakhs per annum
Lots of student Associations are there to gain practical exposure.

Dislikes

Very Strict Attendance Policy of 75 Percent.
Rigid and Time Consuming Course Structure
Lot of Fests are there but they do not match the Vibe like North Indian Colleges Fests

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent around 6-7 LPA and almost 50% students get placed and the Highest package is Around 22LPA . Many MNCs visit the college such as McKinsey,Barclays, Goldman Sachs etc. • I am planning to get placed in a MNC.

the curriculum included both theoretical and practical subjects related to computer science ,which matches my interest in technology and career growth . The curriculum provided foundational knowledge ,practical assignments ,and project work that helped in understanding real word application More industry oriented training is suggested the exams were conducted after 6 months every semester some times the results are delayed by university

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Wealthy and good campus

I like the cleanness of the collage and premise
Very good interaction with other peaceful campus
Another thing i like is the infrastructure good campus amenities and learning facilities

Dislikes

The lab management no sitting arrangement many of the water taps not working ect
The office faculty most of them are rude in behaviour
The parking arrangements not well yet and not allowing any of four wheeler inside the campus

I love pharmacy and i love to see me as an pharmacist i like this profession because i like to see the other pharmacists how they work how they wear the lab coat ect thats why i choose this and as soon i get to know that we can also start a business by having a pharmacy license

Beyond the Brochure: A Critical Look at College Life

Likes

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

Other than Balaji Institute of Modern Management, Pune, I have applied for Indira Institute of Management, Pune, Pune Institute of Business Management, FOSTIIMA, Delhi, Jaipuria Institute of Management which I rejected due to low ROI and Low Average placement. I haven't availed of any quota for admission. Admission criteria are based on various factors such as competitive exam scores any competitive exam such as CAT/CMAT/XAT/MAHCET is applicable, Graduation marks and extracurricular activities also hold weightage, GDPI process is the final barrier for admission. NielsenIQ - The internship forever to cherish

The college had three definite processes for selection. 1. Document Verification - We are asked to submit our documents and after getting verified we are allowed to go for further steps for selection - I was assigned with a topic to write. Post that the seniors helped us to go for GD 3. GD - The students were grouped in number 10. Firstly, each student was given a separate topic to talk about. Just like an extempore. So, I was given the topic of Swach Bharat's talk for a minute. And after the completion of each student's extempore, a common topic was given for group discussion. The group discussion went for around 35 minutes. 4. Personal Interview - My personal interview was taken by the director of BITM himself. Very basic as well as subject-related questions were asked along with the preference to choose the institute between 4 institutes.
