Remarks :

It's one of the best private education institute in Kerala and it was situated in a place not far from a city and not situated in a crowded location as well. The college had all the facilities and good library. The campus had hostels and had a ragging free atmosphere.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I didn't had much industrial experience from college. The teachers taught from the syllabus and it was the duty of students to pass their internal exams inorder to secure good internal marks. All most all the students were good hence the average was good. So we had to score better than the average in order to get good internals. My previous batch was KTU and I think it's better than the old version.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 360000 per year

Placement Experience :

It was difficult for our batch to receive any placement as there were no mechanical companies during the final year. Also, a lot of companies didn't come during the placement like MRF and Federal Bank. Due to the lack of placement, it was difficult for many to find jobs as well. Many started going abroad and many went for coaching.

College Events :

All the activities were coordinated by students and hence increase there management skills. The management helps to solve the issues and create funds for the students. The college is very big and was shown in various films due to the great infrastructure.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

FBOA Scholarship for federal Bank employees children. Also, ask bank for a loan by showing the admission certificate which can be received from college. Also, check for MOMA scholarship. And other scholarship that has to have family income below 3 Lakhs

Campus Life :

The campus is big and great. It had all the required facilities for the students. Good library with lots of books, tennis, shuttle, basketball, cricket, football etc for the students open at all times. The football court is a big one and was selected for training the young football students to compete with nationals.

Hostel Facilities :

There were 2 hostels in order to stop the ragging opportunity. 1st year students were placed in 1 hostel and the next year there were sent to the other one. Also the class time for the 1st and 2nd year were in such a way that they were not able to see each other even at canteen.

Hostel Fee : INR 5000 per year

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Almost 98% gets placed from college.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
