Remarks

I had interest in the Event Management industry. I am also really good at communication. The college offered several practical training sessions throughout the 3 year course. Location of the college was also pretty good, it was close to the railway station. I got to attend a few seminars too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Academically the course was really poor. Since there was hardly any importance given to theory. Study material provided also was not adequate. Few practical trainings were pretty good but then everyone would not get the opportunity to be a part of them.

Course Fees: INR 280000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like Catalyst, Rajhans Audio Visual, Mantra Events, Coconut media came for placements. It was pretty difficult to get into the really good companies. But overall opportunities were adequate.

College Events

There was only one event that would be participated by all. College fest - Josh. Apart from that I've never heard of any event happening. Neither was our college a part of many events elsewhere. Practical training was rather a learning experience and we would also get to enjoy events that way at really fancy places.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure was also not good. It was like a few classrooms allotted to our college in another college. They also had another facility nearby, however there was nothing apart from classrooms.

The Overall experience of an average student

Placement Experience:

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Placement Experience:

placements can happen in any semester starting from 2nd semester, it completely depends on the companies which come to the campus for cadets. 95% of the cadets get placed at the end of their course. teh packages vary from 300000 to 1200000 per year. note that this is the stipend you get while training, once this training is finished and you have al the certifications and are medically fit for sailing you get ti earn 10 times more only after 2 years.

Placement Experience:

After completimg 2sem students are eligible for campus placements. Mock GD and interviews are conducted in 2 sem whivh will be assessed and will affect the overall SGPA. There are multiple companies like JLL, CBRE, Turner and Townsend, AWFIS, C&W, SPCL,GR Infra, GMR, Rider Levett Bucknail, Godrej, ICICI Bank, JWIL, Knight Frank, Savills, Vishwaraj etc. Around 98% of the students were placed from the campus interview. Profiles were for project management. Highest package was 28 LPA by Rider Levett Bucknail.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester, the internship opportunities and full time placement opportunities starts to come, For my batch, Veritas, coditas , Worldline, Wipro, KPIT, CrelioHealth, Kylas these companies came with a good package which was greater tha 4 LPA. Highest package was from veritas 12 LPA, Kylas 7 LPA, and average was arount 3.5-4 LPA. Arount 60% students gets placed. I am placed with a good package through campus placement only

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students will be eligible for placements The placement criteria for placements is having 6.0 or above pointer in attempted semesters and they have to keep that grade up to the end of the course. The highest package was 30 lakh for Dubai bases company related to Real Estate and minimum Package was 3.75 lac for the freshers in Construction Project Management course. 40% of students get placed while 20% opted out and the rest of the students are still getting placement opportunities from the institute.

The surroundings of our college are very interesting, there are guest lectures, workshops. Also, Fresher parties and all of the other events make life at our college very enjoyable.
