Remarks

Good faculty and placement was major reason behind selecting this college. Good location.mumbai city.students from all over the places of Maharashtra which brings diversity and competition in the class.

Course Curriculum Overview

Pd hamrapurkar. Faculty was good. Syllabus was updated. Less industry focus and exposure but there was one visit to one industry which was top company for production of capsules.other faculty was also good.

I got placed via campus before my exams were done.not all students get placed but there must be minimum 10 companies visit from sales & marketing, clinical research, manufacturing industries. But its improving as teachers are trying hard to get companies to visit our college

College Events

No campus life.events were good.extra carricular activitied were well enough. Cultural events were there but majorly focused on the events related to studies and research.other than that.college did whatever the could with available resources.

No sports facilities except indoor sports like tt,carrom.no wifi.library was goof.equipments 7/10.one single building withous campus.which was understandable as the location was prime.but the building was old and now its in renovation stage.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel.students out of mumbai used to live in pG or rent which was much higher if newr prime locations of mumbai.of its in thane.it was lesser but the inconvenience of daily train travel was there.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
