Remarks

The best option available for me wanted to pursue mechanical and was available here which I got through mains counselling.The campus has a real good campus located outskirts of the gwalior city.Has two different campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is updated according to aicte guidelines being a deemed university we were taught the subjects that are more relevant.We were provided an additional designing course for a tenure of 2 weeks.

Decent average jobs some real good companies visited in my time but one had vacancies only for women the other one was it sector onlyBeing a mechanical engineer you have to opt and stick to your core field only

College Events

Being a hosteler the campus life is what we all have. The hostel are in campus with well built roads gardens and sidewalks which are soothing and good for hanging out with friends we have a month long yearly fest in which many activities are organised by a group of our students.

The infrastructure is well maintained.All sports available the cricket ground is the highlight even have a cricket academy by the name of Yuvraj singh inaugurated by himself and guided as wellThe library and labs are available when needed.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are quite new built available with real good WiFi connections with firewalls though you can access all the important sites you will need you will not have any trouble in getting a room they sufficient accommodation.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Deom semester 2 students can avail for internship and from semester 4 students can avial for placements There are several companies like accentire, Infosys, tcs, learn flu, pcs pvt ltd, advikait, internslite, blucurcursor, rackbank etc It make about 280 offers The highest package is 11 lpa and average is 4 lpa 70 percent students get placed

My course is microbiology,, it's very interesting to learn about all the microbes and all their uses in our daily life , but when it comes to demonstrate practically ,, we don't have a microscope and weighing machine, the lab is not well maintained , and also the chemicals and salts are expired , We have no other options to use , so We are compelled to use that only

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

In the last year or 7th semester you will be able to attend campus recruitment and get placed in a reputed company. Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

Internship is quite good but only for studies based not in practically based
