Remarks

The college was good as the quality of education was great and the examination standards were also high. So overall there is nothing bad about this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The study material which was provided was up to date with the industry. The process of self-learning gave us more confidence as the assignments test our knowledge. Since it was a distance learning course so there was neither any campus placements facility provided to us nor any industrial visits organized for us.

Placement Experience

5

There were no campus placements provided to any of the students as it was a distance education college. The students had to look for jobs from their own end. Since the quality of education is good finding a job is never a problem as quality speaks for itself.

College Events

5

Studying in a distance learning institute has many merits and demerits. The biggest drawback is when you are not able to be a part of any events celebrated in the college. Regular college-goers enjoy these benefits as they can not only enjoy these events but also participate in these events. The whole experience of being a part of such events is surreal. So, in the end, there were not any events in which the distance learning students attend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was economical as the admission fees were less compared to other colleges. We just had to pay 26000 rupees at that time to get enrolled in a Symbiosis college. It must be a distance learning institute but the study material which was provided was top notch. The cost of the study material was included in the admission fees. The assignments cost was also included in the admission fees. But the examination fees had to be paid before booking the exam. It was around 250 rupees per exam. So according to the standards of other colleges, it was very economical.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there was no scholarship offer by this institute as the fees were very less as compared to other educational istitutes. No there was no scholarship offer by this institute as the fees were very less as compared to other educational institutes.

Campus Life

Not applicable as it was a distance learning course by a distance learning institute. The gender ratio was 50-50 as we only met the students when we went to the examination center to take the exam. Except for that, there was zero interaction between fellow students.

Hostel Facilities

No, I didn't opt for a hostel facility because it was a distance learning course and we had to sit at home and study by ourselves by the study material provided by the college. The quality of study material was great and the quality of exams was also great.

Alumni/Alumna

Not applicable as its a distance learning course and the alumni network just share the newsletters sometimes along with various course options available or added.

Admission

I came across an advertisement in the newspaper about the various management courses available in the college. As I did two graduate degrees I opted for something which is on the same lines as an MBA course. After proper thought, I decided to opt for a PG diploma in Business Administration which is a two-year course. The process was simple as we had to purchase a prospectus and then after filling it, we had to submit it and deposit the admission fees. It was a very smooth process as we receive study material on the postal address which we have provided. Once we receive the books we can start our own study and do the assignments related to the subjects. After 6 months we can book the exam dates by paying the examination fees of each and every subject. So in two years, of course, we had to complete 42 assignments and 21 exams which were objective in nature.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty I am not aware of as it was a distance learning college and we were not in direct touch with the faculty members as such. If we had got any extra classes during weekends then we have been in a position to throw some light into this matter. But whatever knowledge we can derive from the study material we can assure that the quality of the regular college will be superior and of supreme quality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.
